There is a chance that Team USA could get reallocation men’s GR wrestling 77KG or men’s quad sculls where Kamal Bey and Team USA men’s quad sculls are number one on reallocation list. As of now it looks unlikely for reallocation in these events also in Track Cycling: Women’s Sprint is another event where Team USA is #1 on reallocation.
As of today - Taylor Knibb, Evy Leibfarth, Mary Tucker, Sagen Maddalena, and Vinson Chiu in two events therefore taking multiple quota spots
Team USA could qualify in some events in canoe/kayak and shooting without a quota. Due to the rules a qualified athlete can compete in another event if they have competed in that event in this Olympic quad. That could help Team USA compete in men’s kayak (if they qualify in men’s kayak cross), men’s air pistol and mixed team air pistol.
Atlanta 1996 was benefited by sports that offer automatic qualification as the host country (handball, field hockey, judo, fencing) and it was last Olympics before strict qualification procedures to comply with the IOC’s quota of around 10,500 athletes. Looking ahead to LA28 - Team USA might add another 70 athletes they didn’t qualify in Paris thanks to host qualification in many team sports including handball, judo, men’s field hockey, and men’s epee. Tokyo 2020 athletes # was aided by by team sports like baseball and softball
